How to Search Documents
Enadoc facilitates for several search types. You can execute search functions through different searching criteria here.

Tag search
Advanced search
Keyword search
Full text search
Tag Search
Tag search facilitates to search documents through document tags. You can see Enadoc tag cloud in landing page. Tag cloud consists of document tags such as Index values (Indexes which enable to tag cloud through create index page), flags, user tags and library tags are displayed in the tag cloud. You can perform search through tags by selecting tags as a filtering option.

Click on a Tag to get particular result or result list.

Enadoc users will be able to arrange the tag cloud according to their preference from the given options. This option will be available only in main tag cloud and the library tag cloud. By default, the tags will be arranged randomly. Afterwards, users can arrange the tag cloud real time by using below sort options. If the user selects ‘Current User’, tags are loaded according to the usage of the user. If the user selects, ‘Organization’ tags are loaded according to the usage of all the users of the organization. Tags will be retrieved and loaded according to the selected option. Latest selection will be saved for the user.
Random (Default)
Recently searched – according to the accessed order
Most searched – according to the clicking frequency
Most Tagged – according to the weight of the documents. Tags with more documents will be displayed first.
Least used – opposite of the ‘Most searched’ staring from unused tags
Alphabetical (A-Z) /Alphabetical (Z-A)

Selected Tag in the Tag cloud will be highlighted. Display the number of results related to the selected tags. You can expand to see the results, which contained selected Tag(s) from the Tag cloud. Then click on particular result to view the document. You will be able to expand/collapse the results panel using the arrow icon. When you types the keyword, the Enadoc tag cloud narrows down and shows appropriate tags. You can use following wildcard characters to filter tag cloud.

If you use Enadoc sign, then you can see the Enadoc sign tag in the tag cloud. This is automatically generated user tag when upload the signed document. Enadoc Sign user tags are generated library wise and you can identify the library from its color. When user click on the Enadoc sign tag, all the documents which has been uploaded with sign will be retrieved as search results.

Advanced Search
You can view list of libraries which display in advanced search page. You can select one or more libraries at once. You can perform index search when select only one library. You can perform key word search, when select few or all libraries.
If you select few/all libraries, key word search is enabled to enter a keyword. Here search occurs with respect to the given keyword and date criteria. Enter any key word which are specific for index values. If you don’t know the exact word you can substitute wildcard character/s) for any other character/s. Select a date period. (filter from the ‘date’ type index values). You can search documents according to search criteria. All the documents, which are having index values, like the searched key word will be listed down library wise.
Select one library, then it display the indexes which will let you do an ‘index search’. But also, you can perform a keyword search for the selected library. You can perform search entering known index values of one specific library.
If the Full text search is enabled for the library, a text box will display to enter the word which consists in document to be searched.
When you perform Tag search, or Advanced Search, you will be able to view list view of resulted documents. Results will be displayed according to the entered index values/keyword and to the ‘Search Criteria’ (Like/Equal) which was selected when creating indexes. When you hover the mouse on Thumbnail icon, you can view thumbnail view of document. Select the particular results to get large view of document.

Also, you can perform an advanced search by entering a keyword in the search box and clicking on Search Icon. Enter the keyword in the search box and click on search icon. If you don’t know the exact keyword you can substitute wildcard character(s) for any other character(s). Index values which are like the entered key word will be displayed as results in library wise.

Save Search for Future References
You can save performed searches (search criteria) and retrieve results whenever you need them. You can keep the latest 10 saved searches in the list and the list will retrieve user wise. After access into Advanced search page, you can view ‘Search History’ drop down list. If logged user did not save any searched results, then this list will be empty. You can select any saved search history from drop down list here.

If there are any saved history, you can select one with preferences. Once you select one, results will be retrieved related to saved searched criteria.
Once you select a saved searched from the history list, you will get the result according to saved search criteria.

Provide desire name and click on save button to save searched criteria. Once you saved, it will appear in the history list.
Enadoc Search Extension
There are two extensions available in Chrome, Firefox an Internet Explorer to implement an advanced keyword-based search functionality. When accessing the Enadoc through Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers, extension availability will appear in the login page.

You can just click download icon to navigate to the web store. (Note: IE extension can be downloaded within Enadoc. Click download icon to download the Zip file and then install manually in the machine)

After adding the extension to the browser, you should set a default Enadoc site where you need to perform the search.
Select/highlight any text within the browser. Then login to Enadoc.

Here you can see Enadoc will display the filtered tag cloud according to the searched text.

You can select the required tag to view results.
